Super simple crustless Keto Quiche recipe that is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! This recipe features the delicious flavors of bacon and Gouda for a fantastic (and minimalist) keto meal.
Bacon Gouda Crustless Keto Quiche
A zillion years ago I had a xerox copy of a Quiche Lorraine recipe and this is my keto adaptation of that recipe. It is delicious served warm or cold and can be eaten any time of day!
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
8 slices bacon, cooked and broken into bite-sized pieces
5 oz Gouda cheese, shredded
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Butter glass pie plate and set aside.
In mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
In pie plate, sprinkle half the cheese and half the bacon, then repeat to make a second layer.
Pour egg mixture over the top.
Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes until eggs are set in the middle and the top is golden brown and puffy.
Let cool a few minutes and then slice into pieces.
