Are Chipotle's Quesadillas Keto-Friendly? (And What to Order Instead)

Chipotle has been promoting their quesadillas all over TV and social media and they look soooo tempting. The quesadillas are made with cheese and your choice of meat, sofritas or fajita veggies, cooked in a flour tortilla, and include three sides for dipping. The quesadillas are available with online ordering or through Chipotle's app.

If you follow a low-carb diet you may wonder, are Chipotle's quesadillas keto-friendly?

Chipotle's quesadillas are not keto-friendly since the meat, cheese, sofritas, or fajita veggie filling is wrapped in a flour tortilla. Chipotle's flour tortillas have 50 grams of net carbs, which is more than most keto dieters eat in one day.

Because the flour tortilla is a key component of quesadillas, you cannot make Chipotle's quesadillas keto-friendly.

What can I eat at Chipotle that is keto friendly?
